Sewing lessons!!!!!

Well...this is just about the greatest thing ever...I do not have any babies of my own but I am so blessed with wonderful friends who have children that have become our adopted children and grandchildren...... Not that I feel old enough for grands!!!!!!
Anyway...this little man Max....has watched me sew and crochet and knit and embroider....well..guess what he asked for for his 6th birthday!!!!!
A sewing machine!!!!!
Here we are on one of our first lessons!!!


He Loves it!!!! He's already made a wallet and a carry bag !!! After Christmas we will do more ....and now his older brother is sewing too.....oh and Max is teaching his Dad!!!!
I could not be happier!!!!!

    Oh well done in inspiring and teaching a little one (he is REALLY little bless him), not to mention a boy!! to sew.
    I am seriously impressed and think all your adopted kids and token grandkids (oooh that does make you sound quite old) ;-) are very lucky to have you!

    i LOVE that you're teaching max these things (is he like the coolest kid for wanting that, or what??), and i can't wait until you can teach little peachy someday... :)
