The memory quilt!!! This was a pile of baby clothes ....all the favorites saved by a mum for her little girl....
I turned it into her memory quilt.....added embroideries of special memories and fun things to look at!!
I am pretty pleased with it...most importantly they love it!!

Red wings!!!

This is a sure sign of spring..the day the redwings arrive...they have one of the most beautiful calls and I start listening the last week of feb. this year it was the 26th!!! I could just tell it was the day .... It had a special feel to it...it was one of my dads favorite days of the year!!! He would shout "they're here... they're here!!!"
In the next few days it would be one ...then a few more and then by weeks end the trees would be
full... Well... They're here!!!! The trees are full and spring is on its way!!!!

What a storm......

Oh my gosh... Have we ever been through it...really scary storm.
This was the worst storm I've ever gone through...
The wind was just unbelievable ..I thought the roof was going to blow off...
All I could think about were the poor souls who went through Sandy... Thinking they were safe in there homes and the not to be...
How terrifying that must have been.
Our town has been just devastated.. I have never seen so many trees down.. Hundreds.. Huge pine trees.. On houses and roads.. Lines down everywhere.. It will be days before we have lights... Well here are a few pics..
