I Don't like to bring  the sadness of the world to this place because in so many ways it's my safe haven.....
This is the place I come to when I feel like the world has gone mad......
All of the amazing people I have met through this blog journey have given me such faith in the human being....most of the people of the world are good....
So it is very hard this morning to take in all that has happen here in my own back yard...only 31 miles from my safe haven....only one street from a clinic I worked at for several years...
this area of Boston is so beautiful....probably the most beautiful...so it is a very sad day here and I am trying to find a place to fit today....
I think I will have to make bread....pat my kitties....hug all the children I love so...
Bloody Hell....What is the matter with the world!!!!   A little boy.....a dear little boy....it just breaks my heart....pointless....
So Thank you all out there for making some sense of the world....for bringing humor ...kindness....creativity....humanity to a world that feels at times like it is completely out of control....
Don't take one second for granted...........heaps of love to you all........xxxxx Holly

  2. Beautiful words, my dear and lovely friend. I am truly shocked by the images that I am seeing here in the papers and on the news. I cannot believe it and feel for everyone affected. It's truly awful and so very sad.

  6. Hello Dear Holly, This horrible happening has sadden all of us. I do hope that no one close to you was affected by this tragedy. It is beyond belief each time I hear of something of this natural that involves hurting innocent people. To me, war is hard to understand, but this is impossible.
I feel sad that we met at these times. I was just out blogging and looking to see what blogs some of my followers where following. We do have many mutual followers so I think that we were destined to cross paths at some point.
Your blog is lovely and I am so impressed with your quilts and the details you put into them. They are treasures and it is easy to see all of the love you put into each stitch. You have an amazing talent.
I am your newest follower, and I would like to take this opportunity to invite you over to follow me back. I have met the nicest people in blog-land :)
    Your blogging sister, Connie :)
